What issues are caused by changing a Teams name

I am working in a school and we need to decide on a naming protocol for our classes (Teams). For this year alone we have to change all existing Team names but need to set guidelines for future naming.

Are there any issues with renaming a Team. E.g. will the name change also change all associated files on Sharepoint and also the Class Notebook in OneNote?

When you rename a Team, the associated SharePoint site name will also change.

Renaming a Team does not automatically rename the Class Notebook. The notebook name remains the same as when it was initially created.
