You could confirm with the organizer if this meeting is started properly. If no problem, let someone invite you in the meeting as below:
Besides, sign out and sign in again to join the meeting. If no luck, clear the client cache and make sure your client is the latest version.
Clear cache by deleting any file in the following folders:
- %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\application cache\cache
- %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\blob_storage
- %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\Cache
- %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\databases
- %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\GPUcache
- %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\IndexedDB
- %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\Local Storage
- %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\tmp

I find that your client is Mac. The path I provided is for Windows. Sorry for the mistake.
To exclude the account side issue, it recommends you try to join the meeting by Teams web app and Windows desktop client.
