I have an Asus Zenbook 14 and my microphone works fine when I test it but when I go on a call it doesn't work at all. I've tried turning up the volume and sensitivity and nothing has worked.

    Hello,

Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Check App Permissions: Ensure that the apps you’re using for calls have permission to access your microphone. Go to Settings > Privacy > Microphone and make sure Let apps access your microphone is turned on.

Update Drivers: Make sure your audio drivers are up to date. You can do this through Device Manager by right clicking your microphone device and selecting Update driver.

Run Troubleshooter: Use the built-in troubleshooter. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters, then select Recording Audio and run the troubleshooter.

External Factors: Ensure there are no obstructions or dirt on the microphone. Sometimes, a protective case or dust can block the microphone.

Right click on sound icon on taskbar, select Sound settings.

In next window, under Input devices, select Microphone array.

Test the microphone at this stage.

Choose others options there, if this doesn't works.
