I hope this message finds you well.I recently reset my phone, and as a result, I have lost access to the Microsoft Authenticator app and the authentication codes required for logging into my Microsoft Work account. Unfortunately, the system is only offering me two options to regain access: using an authentication code or the Microsoft Authenticator app, neither of which I can use due to the reset.Although my account is linked to a recovery email, the system does not provide this option for verification. I am currently unable to access my account and would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue as soon as possible. Please let me know if there are any alternative methods to verify my identity and restore access to my account.Thank you for your understanding and support.Best regards,

The codes are being sent to the old phone. The normal process of moving to a new phone is backing it up. To resolve this:

For Work/school accounts you need to contact the admins of those accounts.

If it is a microsoft account contact Product Support with the email address for the affected user. https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/support/create-ticket

    See: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/xandr/curate/troubleshooting-multi-factor-authentication-mfa?source=recommendations#dont-delete-mfa-app
