How to fix this issue? I am using window server 2022 datacenter evaluation. All my client computer having issue with gpupdate /force and getting this information shared. The problem didn't exist before, it started when I removed the share folder of sysvol and netlogon, after that client lost all the policy acces and its doesn't update anymore. I also shared everything back like before, but my client isn't getting it anymore.. I gave all the permission needed, and still nothing. I tired so much and did research to but its not working...i mean all i did was stop sharing those file and shared back, but doesn't process to the client mechine. Its all on same network too. Its also get the dns resolve but somewheres what changes that gpuodate force doesn't work on their computer anymore. What could be the main reason? I saw so many videos did everything they said, but nothing working, i mean all the computer acting same now. Gpupdate force work on my server except client computer despite having all the permission, also from the securities too. I need soild answer with everything for this. Even when i shared a normal folder, it used to work before, but it doesn't work anymore. One mistake runied all of that. Please help me find the right solution.

    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

To further troubleshoot this issue, please kindly try below steps:

1.Check if SYSVOL and NETLOGON Shares are correctly shared and accessible by right clicking the folder property.

2.Check if user has correct access to the folder under "Sharing" tab.

3.Make sure the DNS resolution is working fine. Try to clear the DNS cache by ipconfig /flushdns and ipconfig /registerdns command.

4.On the client machines, try resetting the Group Policy settings and see if it works.

I hope the information above is helpful.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to let us know.

    Best regards,

    Jill Zhou
