Hi,

I am stuck with creating a domain name.

I filled the wizard but processing failed, arguing my subscription is not eligible to. Even if I started with a free one, I upgraded it and provided my credit card information which is now properly listed in payment methods along with my Azure credits.

I even added a budget to my subscription which is higher than the $12 asked for the domain name.

Please provide information on how to unlock this behavior.

So, it is most likely as a result of your subscription history. Some subscriptions types would be required to have sufficient history on Azure prior to creating an App Service Domain. Free trial and credit based subscriptions are not eligible to create an App Service Domain.

    See: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/app-service/manage-custom-dns-buy-domain

You will need to be on azure a bit longer to create one. For direct assistance you can contact support:

You can mark it 'Accept Answer' and 'Upvote' if this helped you

I contacted support but they failed to provide a valid answer. I can create a lot of paid resources and I did with them as they told it could unlock my case. And after a month of failure, they now asked me to pay for a 29$ support to escalate. I only want to buy a 12$ domain name..

The whole process is just a joke..
