I've been added to a teams in Microsoft teams by my company and I have been trying for HOURS to go into it but whenever I try to, a pop up will show saying I have to enter in a verification code from Microsoft Authenticator app to be able to go into the said team.

Problem is my Microsoft Authenticator app would not show any code/number. When I try to input in the One-Time password code under my linked account in the app it still does not work. I tried to sign in using the alternative methods such as putting in the number given but still does not work.

I need an urgent help in this as this is the only way I can access company files. I need guidance ASAP.

    Hi @Nadrah Ummaira Binte Amirullah

You can remove your account or device from the Microsoft Authenticator app and add it again.

Typically, you remove a device to permanently delete a lost, stolen, or old device from your account, and you remove an account to try to fix some connection issues or to resolve account changes, such as a new username.

Go to the Security info page, find the device you want to delete and select Delete. Or from the Microsoft Authenticator app, select the account you want to delete, then select Settings icon and Remove account.

In addition, you can also choose to turn off two-step verification:

Sign in to your Microsoft account Advanced security options.

Under Additional security and Two-step verification choose Turn on or Turn off.
