Q. How does billing works for Azure Digital Twins?
A. With Azure Digital Twins, there is no upfront cost or termination fee. Customers only pay for what they consume. For billing in Azure Digital Twins, there are three pricing dimensions – Operations, Messages and Query Units. The consumption of Azure Digital Twins is measured in the number of Operations, Messages and Query Units consumed. The billing is generated monthly and customers are billed on the number of Operations, Messages, and Query Units consumed during the month.
Q. What happens if I create an Azure Digital Twins instance and I don’t have any operations, messages, or query units for the billing period – do I get billed?
A. No. You will only get billed for the number of Operations, Messages, and Query Units consumed during the billing period.
