Dear Anyone :)

I work for a company that uses Calendar for FYI events and follows certain rules for accepting events with specific summaries. I want to know how to automatically send a " accepted " response for a free event with a specific summary. I know I can use conditions of 'calendar event' and 'body', but how can I send a response action? Can anyone suggest a solution in Microsoft tools or external automation tools like Node-red? Thank you in advance for your help!

best: Peter

    Hi @Csepi

    Welcome to our forum!

Please kindly understand that the Outlook tag here we mainly focus on general issues about Outlook desktop client, and not much is known about scripts and third-party tools, and the following suggestions are for reference only. Thank you for your understanding!

To automatically send an "accepted" response with a specific summary activity, it is recommended that you create a rule with a specific response template. Here are the steps:

1.Create a Template: Before setting the rule, create a template for your response. Go to Home > New Email. Write your “accepted” response and save it as a template by clicking File > Save As and choosing Outlook Template.

2.Create a Rule: Go to Home > Rules > Manage Rules & Alerts. >Click on New Rule. >Select Apply rule on messages I receive and click Next. >Set conditions to match the event details, such as specific words in the subject or body.>Click Next and choose Reply using a specific template.

By the way, for Outlook development-related issues, you can get more professional advice in this tab: Office Development.
