I am running Windows server 2022 (activated) and this is the On prem AD. I am trying to run AD sync to connect this to my Azure cloud services but i keep getting the above error. What can i do to resolve it? Note: I have tried both Express and Custom setup, they both give errors.

    Hi @Denzel Moyo

Thank you for reaching Microsoft Q&A!

Based on the error message you it seems issue with the Verify Account Credentials.
Could you please check that the account name and password you are using for the synchronization service are correct as per the below document according to the installation type https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/identity/hybrid/connect/how-to-connect-install-express
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/identity/hybrid/connect/how-to-connect-install-custom
Also, verify that you have followed the Prerequisites for Microsoft Entra Connect.
