Windows 11 keeps adding random keyboard layouts I don't want

I use my computer in English, just for display, but its keyboard has a Latin American Layout, for which I use the Spanish Latin American version of it. My problem is windows keeps adding English (United States) US keyboard and English (United States) Latin American keyboard, which I never add manually because I don't need them. Why does it happen and how can I prevent it from happening again?

I have the same problem, windows suddenly decides I need to use a new keyboard layout and adds it without consent. And the worst part is that the absurd keyboard combination of windows + Spacebar toggles between them... Its just annoying.

Before you could add or remove the layouts and prevent this from changing and removing the annoying Language bar. now where to remove unwanted layouts is no where to be found. I use Spanish Keyboard layout because my keyboard is European and that is the one I like, but then an update came by and suddenly the language bar reactivates and windows decided I also needed Latinamerican, Chile, Mexico and English layouts... Just because other configurations I have in my PC that ARE NOT the keyboard have those settings...

Windows just makes it hard to bear....

It seems about once every few weeks, it adds 1 to 3 keyboards that I don't want, and switches to some default one (which I only notice because my typing gets messed up). I then have to go in and 'view' my settings with 1 keyboard only listed, and it fixes it until what I'm assuming is the next windows upgrade or something. Started happening a few months ago after years of honouring my preferred keyboard layout (one I created 20 years ago)

    Hello,

You can check if any third-party software might change your keyboard layout.

Firstly, remove any unwanted keyboard layouts.

Make your preferred keyboard is set as default.

Settings > Accounts > Sync your settings > Turn off "Language preferences"

Right-click on the taskbar > Taskbar Settings > Enable Show language bar.

This will help to switch over keyboards.
