Bitbucket option missing for continuous deployment in Deployment Center

I am attempting to set up continuous deployment for my Azure Function with Bitbucket as my repository, but I am only seeing GitHub as an available option. This was not an issue in early August 2024. Any ideas on what could be causing this or how to fix it? bilde

To test this behavior, I have created consumption-based windows function app and able to see the bitbucket as deployment source as shown below.

Can you please check the following and let us know if you are still facing the issue.

Try clearing the browser cache, log-out and login into to portal from same browser or from different browser and check.

Check the RBAC permissions that you have on the above shared function app whether contributor or reader.

If you function app is configured with any inbound network restrictions, then deployment center doesn't support continuous deployment as mentioned in note section in this documentation.

I would suggest you go through the enable basic authentication concepts for deployment.

If none of the above works and you are not able to enable/select the source bitbucket in deployment center, then try adding the source control for function app using Update Source Control Rest API.

I tried creating a consumption-based windows function app and it now works. Seems like it is not possible to select bitbucket if it is a linux based function app.

I have tried checking with both Chrome and Firefox and I get the same options as the screenshot.

In this resource I have the roles Owner and Resource Provider Registration, but I also checked a different resource where I have Contributor and there is no difference there.

There are no inbound network restrictions and basic authentication is enabled.

@Mikael Bjerga Thanks for your response. I am also see the same that in source control we dont see the bitbucket for linux consumption apps and for elastic premium we can see it.

I am checking with the internal team to confirm the same that whether source control(Continuous deployment) with source control as AzureRepos or BitBucket etc.,. is supported or not.

@Mikael Bjerga Thanks for your patience on this.

This is by design Linux function apps on consumption-based model does not support source control mechanism to deploy your application from bitbucket or from any other source controls which is mentioned in this documentation.
