The teams desctop application is constantly trying to open leaving me with a whole bunch of error messages saying the program can't be run. I can't uninstall microsoft teams either or any other application for that matter. I also can't use the search bar function. I have tried troubleshooting, I have tried restarting etc etc. Nothing works

    @wonderful Mashca ,

    Does this issue persist all the time? Or what changes do you do before this issue happened?

    Does anyone else have the same issue?

    Do you mean that you cannot uninstall any programs in your machine? You could confirm with your IT admin if he does some restrictions in your organization.

    To exclude the issue of account side, log in Teams web client(https://teams.microsoft.com) and try to use the search function. If no problem, clear the client cache and make sure your client is the latest version. Clear cache by deleting any file in the following folders:

    • %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\application cache\cache
    • %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\blob_storage
    • %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\Cache
    • %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\databases
    • %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\GPUcache
    • %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\IndexedDB
    • %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\Local Storage
    • %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\tmp

    Moreover, please give us a screenshot of the error message when you uninstall Teams if possible.

    Try deleting everything in %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Teams and reinstalling if you have not done so already
