What is this startup Item???

Question

So I wanted to disable startup apps. And I see Chromium Update. I know chromium is a virus and I don't have it installed. It doesn't show up under Add or Remove Apps. Should I be worried about this? And how can I remove it? Thank you

From the description of this app, we can see that this should be related to Google.
As far as I know, Chromium and chrome are both browsers launched by Google. The relationship between the two is that Chromium is equivalent to the experimental version of Chrome. Chromium will launch new functions soon, and will be adopted in Chrome only after the new functions become stable on Chromium. Chromium is the engine behind Google's Chrome browser, designed to create a secure, stable, and fast general-purpose browser. Chromium kernel is used in most dual-core browsers in China. So I consider that you don't need to worry too much about it.
Have you installed Chromium? Chromium update app may be included in Chromium. You could try to uninstall.
Open Control Panel>Programs>Uninstall or change a program.

Try uninstall the Google Chrome and restart your PC and see whether it should be uninstalled too.
