Today I found out, that uploads of SSML files containing language specific characters (here: Danish), it is only possible, if you convert it to UFT8-BOM (e.g. with notepad++).
Only a generic error message is displayed "file format error", which is not helpful.
Also illegal invisible characters like 0x0A prevent upload.
BUT: If you copy&paste the same content into a new file in Speech portal, it accepts the exact same input. But exporting and then importing the same SSML file would cause the same error.

@Klaus Zuenkler The file format dependency with respect to text and ssml files is listed in the document requirements here.

Is it possible to attach a file which has some illegal characters that failed to upload so we can share the same to our engineering team?
