Hello

Please i need your help on this issue.

When a user creates or uploads files they cannot be checked in or checked out. Files do not appear if logged on as support or any other user.

Versioning settings are set for checking check out as No.

Whether files creator cannot check in/out files or other users cannot check in/out files?

When files are not checked in and checked out, they are drafts in the document library.

Please go to Document library settings -> Versioning settings -> Set Draft Item Security as Any user who can read items.

The setting was already set to "Any user who can read items"

Here are steps to solve this issue:

1.Let the file owner fill in columns to meet the list validation.

Select the file -> Properties -> Fill in columns.

2.Let the file owner check in the file at least one time.

3.Then other users can check in/out the file.

So now i am testing this as the owner and mind you using an account that is a site administrator.

Still unable to check out after the steps applied

Please create a new document library, then test whether the issue exists.
