I am running google chrome with third party cookies enabled. I am stuck when trying to work through the learning modules because the sandbox gets stuck at configuring the cloud shell after verifying my account. The shell does not load. I have wasted 30min of sandbox time trying to change settings, and reload while working through available troubleshooting options. Please help. Screenshot 2024-09-11 104323

    Hi JR Jones,

Thanks for reaching out to us on the Microsoft Q&A forum.

We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues in running training scripts in the sandbox.

Before activating the Sandbox kindly follow the troubleshooting steps as mentioned below for the issue:

Step 1: Sign-out from all the tabs in the current browser and clear the cache files and try login again with your learn ID credentials.

Step 2: Sign-out from current browser login and try to login from an incognito window/in-private window.

Step 3: Switch to a different browser and try login again.

After completing the troubleshooting steps kindly activate a new sandbox by clicking the "Activate sandbox" button for an exercise. Upon activating a sandbox, a default subscription named "Concierge subscription" is generated for the Microsoft Learn Sandbox directory along with a default resource group name starting with learn.

Note: Kindly do not delete any resource groups, the sandbox automatically cleans up your resources when you're finished working with any module.

Additionally, to the given troubleshooting steps kindly follow the below steps:

    • Try logging in with a new personal Microsoft email account into the learn path using a completely different browser. If you do not have one, create a new free Microsoft account. Note that you need to sign in with a Microsoft account, such as Office 365 or Outlook.com, for sandbox access.
    • If you are still unable to create a resource due to insufficient permissions in the sandbox subscription, we recommend signing up for an Azure free account through the provided link Azure free account and creating a sandbox environment there.

Please refer to the link below for guidance on running Microsoft Learn training exercises in your own subscription: Run Microsoft Learn training exercises in your own subscription

Additionally, we have tried from our end and successfully completed the exercise, as illustrated in the screenshots provided below:
