I read a doc for restoring a dropped server.

But not so sure if it also applies to an automatically dropped server after an automatic migration?

I believe No. After you've performed a final migration to Flexible Server, the source single server will be shut down and you can't even perform a rollback from Flexible Server to Single Server.
