I use Datto RMM to monitor my work environment devices and I keep getting same alert from different machines:

Event Log

Name: SystemSystem

Source: EventLog

Code: 6008

Type: 2

When I check on Event Viewer, I see the below description:

The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Launch permission for the COM Server application with CLSID

Windows.SecurityCenter.WscCloudBackupProvider

and APPID

Unavailable

to the user AzureAD\TumeloSwati SID (S-1-12-1-2140830776-1321948840-2871889821-676614086) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.

    Hello Sibulele Landzela,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

Event 6008 is typically coming due to a third-party app or display card driver. You could try these steps:

    1. Roll back display card driver.
    2. Check for the 3rd -party programs on Task manager.
    3. Check for Windows Updates, ensure the system has the latest update.
    4. If you encounter the issue after a Windows Update, uninstall it and check again.
    5. Perform a clean boot and manually disable the program one after the other in order to identify what is causing the problem.

I hope the information above is helpful.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to let us know.

    Best Regards,

    Daisy Zhou
