A Microsoft desktop and app virtualization service that runs on Azure. Previously known as Windows Virtual Desktop.
Hi Brian Vasquez,
Unfortunately, Windows does not natively support assigning different virtual desktops to individual monitors. When you switch virtual desktops, it affects all monitors simultaneously. However, there are a few workarounds and third-party tools that might help you achieve a similar effect:
Using Task View and Multiple Desktops:
You can create multiple virtual desktops using Task View (Windows Key + Tab).
While you can’t assign a virtual desktop to a specific monitor, you can move applications between virtual desktops to keep your workspaces organized.
Third-Party Tools:
Tools like DisplayFusion or Actual Multiple Monitors offer more advanced multi-monitor management features, including the ability to assign different virtual desktops to different monitors.
Using Multiple User Accounts:
- Another workaround is to use multiple user accounts and switch between them. Each user account can have its own set of applications and settings, effectively separating your workspaces.
For more detailed information, you can refer to the following Microsoft documentation:
