Unable to Deploy Web App from AI Studio Chat Playground

I am unable to deploy a Web App using the "Deploy" -> "WebApp" feature in Azure AI Studio -> Chat Playground. I receive the following error message, "Web App deployment failed Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'split'). Trace ID : c40769d6-423d-4064-8586-9f0dae9121bb".

I have tried different models and without adding a custom System Message or "Add Your Data". Always the same error message. Additionally, no errors are recorded in any Activity Log for related services.

Using the older Azure OpenAI Studio service does NOT generate the same error.

@YutongTie-MSFT The same failure occurs for another colleague of mine. This is blocking all of our work and we will pursue other solutions outside of Azure.

Hi @YutongTie-MSFT, I tried deploying again using the Deploy button in Chat Playground (AI Studio) and now I receive this error: "Web App deployment failed The template deployment '2b1a4d85-5d87-47e4-af54-de5dce35fbfd' is not valid according to the validation procedure. The tracking id is '0eb3a7e4-5645-4d72-ba4f-9d97e0c1e313'. See inner errors for details. Trace ID : e5855069-b34b-4e41-a14d-3b744a8b62b2"

I have not created or modified a template. This feature was automated in OpenAI Studio (also from the Chat Playground in that service), so I suspect there's a problem with the template built into the "Deploy" feature.

Hi @YutongTie-MSFT , Any updates on this issue? My last comment on Sept 13, 2024 with the "new" error message is still occurring. My admin has confirmed that I have the highest level of permissions to perform any function in AI Studio. Please help.

BTW, We've tried submitting a support request through our subscription and paid support model, but we're unable to send the request.

Product team released a hotfix for this issue, please try if your side is working well right. Let me know if you are still blocked.

If you are blocked but still cannot open a support ticket, maybe we can try to enable you a free ticket to see if that works for you, let us know.

Hi @YutongTie-MSFT , with the proper permissions, I cannot submit a support ticket after selecting the numerous categories under support+help link in the portal only to receive an error message that "You don't have permission to create a support request

To get permission, ask your subscription administrator or owner to assign you ‘Support Request Contributor’ role for the selected subscription".

However, my admin has given me the Support Request Contributor role.

Don't worry, we're going to abandon AI Studio and just build our own AI system/architecture.
