RTX 3050 Display Adapter showing as '' Microsoft Basic Display Adapter '' - Desperate for Help!

Question

Hi everyone, I recently bought a new laptop with an NVIDIA RTX 3050 graphics card, but Windows is only recognizing it as ''Microsoft Basic Display Adapter''. I've tried everything and I'm desperate for a solution

Here's what I've done so far

1. Downloaded and installed the drivers from my Laptop ASUS website + Nvidia website
   Used Device Manager to update the drivers multiple time
2. Uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers
3. Ran windows update to ensure all updates are installed
4. Tried DDU to remove old drivers and reinstall the new ones

Despite all this, the problem persists and the RTX 3050 is still not being recognized

Could be this an issue

with Windows or is there something else I should try? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
