    @Hari 8106 Greetings!

    If the Azure Recovery Services vault agent automatic updates are not working, you can check few things to troubleshoot the issue.

    1. Verify that the agent version is compatible with automatic updates. Automatic updates are only supported for agent versions 2.0.9150.0 and later.
    2. Make sure that the update schedule is configured correctly. You can check the update schedule in the "Settings" section of the Recovery Services vault.
    3. The agent logs can provide more information about the issue. You can find the logs in the C:\ProgramData\Microsoft Azure Recovery Services Agent\Temp directory. Look for any error messages or warnings that might indicate the cause of the issue.
    4. Ensure that the machine has internet access and can connect to Azure services. The agent requires network connectivity to download and apply updates.
    5. Verify that there are no firewalls or proxies blocking access to Azure Backup endpoints.
    6. Ensure that the necessary endpoints required for Azure Backup are reachable from the machine. This typically includes specific URLs and ports. Doc reference link - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/backup/install-mars-agent#verify-internet-access
    7. If automatic updates are not working, you can manually download the latest version of the Azure Backup agent from the Azure Portal or download from here. Reference link - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/backup/install-mars-agent#download-the-mars-agent
    8. Restart Azure backup service and see if the update proceeds.

    If you have followed all the above steps and the issue persists, it is best to contact Azure technical support team by raising a support ticket. The ticket enables you to work closely with the support engineers and get a quick resolution to your issue.
