Configuring content filters with Azure OpenAI Service

We are working with a non-profit building chatbots in the SRH space (sexual and reproductive health) and some of the content falls under filterable content. We are considering to use Azure OpenAI as our LLM. However, based some proof of concepts, a portion of their content is identified as sensitive, making it subject to content filters that are more stringent than the default moderation policies typically applied.

We are checking the azure documentation, and it seems that only managed customers can apply for full content filtering control submitting a form. However the documentation clearly says that 'At this time, it is not possible to become a managed customer"

Is there anything that we can do here? Any recommendation?

    Hello @Jose Garcia Munoz

Thanks for reaching out to us, are you mentioning you want to turn the full filter off? If that is the case, yes, you are right, only managed customers can turn off the content filter now, however, it is not possible to become a managed customer at this moment.

But, every customer can adjust the content filter to low/ medium/ high for categories of harmful content (violence, hate, sexual, and self-harm)

Also, you can add blocklist - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/ai-services/openai/how-to/use-blocklists

Could you please try and see how it works for you? Are above not enough for you? I hope this helps. Please let me know.

    Regards,

    Yutong
