Broken: TypeError: this.Plotly.newPlot is not a function

I'm trying to run this exercise. Executing the code under "Visualizing Scaled features" gives the error TypeError: this.Plotly.newPlot is not a function. I can't complete the exercise while this is broken.
The issue seems to be with the graphing module.

This issue was initially reported on another thread in Nov. of 2023 and consistently reported since then. Either one of two things is happening:

MS is extremely incompetent within their own tech stack.

MS just doesn't care.

I would love an explanation from them regarding why it's taking over 18 months to resolve an issue that EVERYONE seems to have the answer to using Visual Code???
