Hi @Andy Middlebrook
Teams tag is mainly focused on the general issue of Microsoft Teams troubleshooting. According to your case description, you want to change the company name and transfer to a new domain, which is not in our support scope. The following suggestion is for your reference:
Change the company name: You need global administrator permissions and log in to the Microsoft 365 admin center: Navigate to Settings > Organization Settings. In the Organization Profile tab, select Organization Information. Then change the organization name.
Transfer to a new domain: After you get a new domain name, add the new domain to Microsoft 365:
In the Microsoft 365 admin center, select Settings > Domains > Add a domain.
Enter the new domain name and follow the wizard to complete the setup.
Update user email addresses: In the Microsoft 365 admin center, update all users' email addresses to use the new domain.
Configure DNS records: Configure DNS records at the domain name registrar according to the instructions provided by Microsoft.
Keep the same functions:
- SharePoint: Make sure the new domain is configured correctly and migrate existing SharePoint sites to the new domain.
- Email: Update all users' email addresses and make sure mail flow is normal.
- Teams: Make sure the Teams configuration is consistent with the new domain and notify all users to update their login information.
During the migration process, ensure that all data is backed up to prevent data loss.
