Group Policy Question

Background:

I'm setting up the new Group Policy for Windows 11 and I'm using CIS Microsoft Windows 11 Enterprise v3.0.0 L1 as a security guide.

Issue:

I'm at the "Xbox Accessory Management Service (XboxGipSvc)' is set to 'Disabled'" under the original group policy 10, I see a listing for XblAuthManger, XblGameSave, XboxGipSvc and XboxNetApiSvc. But with I open the group policy 11 that I created and go to the same location, those server names are missing.

Questions:

If those services need to be added manually, I will need a guide.

Thanks.

You'll have to open the Group Policy Management Console from a Client Device just to create this policy because the list of Service you see in the editor is retrieved directly from the device on which the Management Console was opened.

An alternative would be to use the "Preferences/Control Panel Settings/Services" node under "Computer Configuration" because you can write the service name in there.
