    Hello

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

The differences between the "Audio Codec - KS Topology - Mobilecore" and "Audio Codec - KS Topology - WinBlue" tests in the Hardware Lab Kit (HLK) typically relate to the specific versions of Windows they are designed to validate against.

    1. Mobilecore: This test is generally aimed at validating audio codec functionality on Windows Phone or similar mobile platforms that are based on a streamlined or mobile-centric kernel. It ensures the audio components comply with the requirements for mobile devices.
    2. WinBlue: "WinBlue" was the codename for Windows 8.1. So, this test version is designed to validate the audio codec functionality and KS topology on systems running Windows 8.1 and potentially subsequent desktop versions of Windows that are based on a similar kernel architecture. When choosing between these tests, you should select the one that matches the target platform you are validating your hardware or drivers against.

For mobile devices, go with Mobilecore, and for desktop or similar platforms, go with WinBlue.

I hope the information above is helpful.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to let us know.

    Best Regards,
