Application keep on getting 504 time-out gateway error

Hi Team,
Application was hosted in azure portal but keep on getting 504 gateway time-out error.
Once i got this error i need to restart the virtual machine then only application working and elastic search keep stop working. the application was developed in Magento 2.
Kindly help me how to overcome these issues and what changes are required to improve website loading with out any issues.
