Costs for Elastic job Agents

Hi

apart from the cost of the S0 SQL Azure instance, what other costs are associated with running Elastic Agent Jobs?

I've looked in the pricing calculator and it doesn't seem to be an option there.

Please take in consideration the Elastic Job Agent. This is a required component for managing and executing jobs. The cost of the Elastic Job Agent is based on the provisioned tier. You can find detailed pricing here.

Job Database is another cost. It is used for defining jobs and tracking their status and history. The job database is an Azure SQL S0 database, the pricing is typically around $15 per month, but this can vary based on your region and specific usage.

Job execution itself doesn't directly incur extra costs beyond the compute and storage usage on the databases that the job interacts wit

If your job involves moving data across regions (i.e., between databases in different Azure regions), there could be outbound data transfer costs, depending on the volume of data being moved.

The SQL database for the job agent and any associated databases may incur additional storage costs for automatic backups or if you use long-term retention for backups.
