When opening Azure Document Intelligence, it opens in external directory. Then its impossible to change to the right one.

I created an external directory in Entra ID to add B2B customers to my App. Now I have two directories/ tenants in my Azure Portal. My main one and my external one. The problem is, that when I open Document Intelligence Studio I get logged in the external one, which has no authorisation to use Document Intelligence Studio. When I want to change to the right directory I get a "InteractionRequiredAuthError" which changes to a prompt asking me to "sign in with a different account" once per second, making it impossible to do anything.

Is there any fix for example in stopping Document Intelligence to start with the external directory? Another issue could be that maybe my work email (karim@steady.insure) isnt authenticated properly by Document Intelligence Studio?

Thanks for any help!

    Hi Karim Salama,

Thank you for posting in the Q&A Forums.

Issue 1: Document Intelligence Studio logs into the wrong directory

    Clarify directory selection:

Make sure you select the correct directory when logging into the Azure portal or any Azure service, including Document Intelligence Studio. The Azure portal has a directory selector in the upper right corner that allows you to switch between directories.

    Use the correct credentials:

Make sure you are using the credentials associated with your home directory to sign in to the Azure portal and Document Intelligence Studio.

    Clear browser cache and cookies:

Sometimes browser caches and cookies can cause login issues. Try clearing the browser cache and cookies and then logging in again.

    Check the Azure AD configuration:

Ensure that your Azure AD configuration is correct, especially regarding multi-tenancy and directory synchronization settings.

    Issue 2: “InteractionRequiredAuthError” Error

    Re-login:

Try logging out of the Azure portal and Document Intelligence Studio completely and then logging back in.

    Check permissions:

Ensure that your user account has sufficient permissions to access Document Intelligence Studio in the correct directory. you may need to contact your Azure administrator to check and modify the permissions.

Check security policies and conditional access:

Check if any Azure AD security policies or conditional access rules prevent you from accessing Document Intelligence Studio from an external directory.

Issue 3: Work email is not properly verified

    Verify email address:

Ensure that your work email address (karim@steady.insure) is registered with Azure AD and verified.

    Check account status:

Log in to the Azure portal and check your account status to ensure that there are no restrictions preventing you from accessing the service.

    Best regards

    NeuviJ
