Black screen when users log in

Hi all,

 

I have had a batch of devices which are having issues when users log into the devices they get a black screen and just the cursor loaded however restarting the device and getting the user to log back in fixes it. 

 

We have had several devices do this, why could this be? Is there a better fix than the work around

    Make sure Windows as well as Display drivers are updated.

    You may consider creating a new user id to check if there is any issue related to profile corruption.

    Open Command Prompt as Admin and execute the following commands one after the another:

    sfc /scannow

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

    You may also try a System Restore.
