How to provide access to certain files to be downloaded via SharePoint online for external users when we share the respective file and folders from SharePoint online?

Also we have enabled the "Unmanaged Access " policy for the devices which are not managed via Intune and when Unmanaged devices policy is set to "Allow limited, web only access" in Access Control in SharePoint online admin center

I am looking for a way to give a access to a particular folder to download files from that shared folder to external users which are not added as guest and the folder was shared directly to those external users.

Hi @Mytoast Admin ,

According to your description, the folder was shared directly to those external users. When you shared the folder, did you grant the Can Edit permission at the same time? If so, then external users can directly download the files in the folder. If not, it is recommended that you share the folder again and grant the external users the Can Edit permission.

I made a test. When the organization-level and site-level external sharing settings are set to New and existing guests, the above method allows external users to download files.
