Microsoft Edge FAVORITES can no longer Open in New Tab or New Window.

Question

I was in the middle of a session where this was working correctly, then suddenly my FAVORITES could no longer Open in new tab, Open in new window, OR Open in new InPrivate window. These options are all grayed out. Cut, Edit, Rename etc are all still available. It happened suddenly and in the middle of a session.

I realize I can hold CTRL + left click to make it Open in new tab.
I realize I can hold SHIFT + left click to make it Open in new window.

My questions are these:

1. How do I fix it so that the right click menu will let me do this the normal way?
2. What exactly caused this to happen suddenly...

Hi @Sebatis L,

This issue is caused by Edge being updated to "129.0.2792.52". In my test, if I roll back Edge to a previous version (128.0.2739.79), Edge Favorites feature is all normal. So, if you think that it is inconvenient to use the two shortcut keys you mentioned, you can consider rolling back Edge to a previous version. Of course, you can press "Shift+Alt+I" to submit feedback in Edge. The developer should fix this issue after seeing your feedback.
