Software deployment in a domain controller requires exe to msi for silent installation.

In practice, what software is recommended to convert exe to msi?

What conversion mode is usually used when converting to msi?

Can you recommend a complete tutorial for exe to msi conversion (the msi performs a true silent installation with no human interaction)

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

To convert installation package from .exe to .msi file, there are multiple third-party tools to be used apart from Microsoft.

If you are using Microsoft Intune, you can convert it to .msi file and upload to Intune for slient installation.
