On Microsoft Teams, recording a meeting or call typically requires at least one other participant to initiate the recording feature. However, if you want to record yourself without involving someone else, you have a couple of options:
- Create a Meeting with Yourself:
- Schedule a meeting in Teams and invite yourself.
- Join the meeting from one device (e.g., your computer).
- If you have a different account or secondary device, you can also join the same meeting from that device to have at least two participants.
- Start the recording. Since you're the only active participant, you'll essentially be recording yourself.
- Use Screen Recording Software:
If Microsoft Teams' built-in recording feature is not flexible enough, you can use dedicated screen recording software. Tools like OBS Studio, Windows Game Bar (built into Windows 10 and 11), and others can record your screen and audio.
