    Hi @Sergey,

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A platform!

Based on your description, you are facing some frustrating search limitations in Outlook.

Here are a few steps you can try to customize your search settings to get more than 1000 results without manually adjusting the search limit:

    1. Modify the SearchResultsCap registry key:
    • Open the Registry Editor (press Win + R, type regedit, and press Enter).
    • Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Search.
    • If the SearchResultsCap key does not exist, create a new DWORD (32-bit) value named SearchResultsCap.
    • Set the value to 0 to remove the upper limit on search results.
    1. Rebuild the search index:
    • In Outlook, go to File > Options > Search > Indexing Options.
    • Click Modify, uncheck Outlook, and click OK.
    • Restart Outlook, then go back to Indexing Options, check Outlook again, and click OK.
    • Wait for a while for the index to be rebuilt.
    1. Sometimes, disabling FAST search can help improve search results.
    • Open Registry Editor and navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Search.
    • Create a new DWORD (32-bit) value called DisableServerAssistedSearch.
    • Set the value to 1.
    1. Increase the number of cached items:
    • Go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings.
    • Select your account and click Change.
    • Adjust the "Mail to keep offline" slider to All.
    1. Use Advanced Find:
    • Press Ctrl + Shift + F to open the Advanced Find dialog box.
    • This allows for more detailed search criteria and can sometimes bypass the default search limitations.

These steps should help you get more comprehensive search results in Outlook.

Please feel free to contact me for any updates. And if this helps, don't forget to mark it as an answer.

    Best,

    Jake Zhang
