If you think the hardware settings are now incorrect I'd try asking for help over here.

otherwise some recovery options here.

if the reply is helpful--I tried the Windows troubleshoots. And it wont even let me reinstall it from the troubleshoot. It gives me an error tryin to do that. I dont wanna lose my stuff. To much stuff on there. Has to be another way. Obviously a setting changed in BIOS and i need to find out which one or how it all should be set inside bios because it was workin find until i hit the load optimal defaulta.
Then you'll need to get in touch with the hardware vendor for support.

if the reply is helpful--Its not under warranty and they charge like 80 bucks to diagnose and try to fix without any guarantees. Tryin to see if anyone else could help. Recently had a heart attack and no money to spare to take it to shop or pay for something thats not guaranteed. Just looking for help
You'll have better luck finding users of the same hardware in the acer forums. Another option is to trial and error the cmos setting you think were changed.

if the reply is helpful--Ive toggled a couple things in BIOS but didnt wanna go to crazy and make it worse. Any idea of what to mess with? Or maybe what should be where normally? Like i said too. I posted this question on the Acer board and am not getting a ton of help. So looking anywhere for someone
You've asked in microsoft windows forums about specific hardware settings. Better option is to try asking in acer forums or contact acer support here for assistance.

if the reply is helpful--Like I said. I already asked in Acer forums. Ive also asked acer support and its 80 bucks with no guarantee they can fix it which I cant afford. Ive already explained that. So i have a message on a few forums looking for help from whoever can help.
Sounds like you may be left with clean installing it.

if the reply is helpful--Why if i hit one thing and it made changes can we not just change those back somehow? Isnt there a certain setup in BiOS to make sure it boots correctly or something? Cant be this hard. It got switched that quick. Gotta be settings we can set in BIOS since thats what got changed.
You said you were trying to fix something else in the BIOS. What setting did you change? EFI or Legacy boot maybe? Go back in the BIOS and see if there's an option to load failsafe (or something to that effect) defaults.
As you haven't backup BIOS settings, so it is not available to revert them back.

Hi,
Thank you for coming Microsoft Q&A forum.
I noticed load optimal defaults will not affect your system disk, but you need to familiar with BIOS and back it up, in case some actions such as if you changed the hard disk controller before resetting the BIOS, you will need to restore the correct value by change the mode of the hard disk controller. Otherwise, a STOP blue screen will be displayed each time Windows starts.
As BIOS is not a part of system, and also out of Microsoft support scope. We recommend to contact with Acer support might need to pay for support if your device out of quality assurance.
Bests,
Joy.
