Hi,

I'm having trouble getting access to my Azure for Students subscription. I went through the whole verification process and verified my student status with my school email. I got the verification email and followed the instructions. After that, when I logged in to the Azure portal I didn't see a student subscription or the 100$ credit at all.

I did get the following notification:

The portal is having issues getting an authentication token. The experience rendered may be degraded. Additional information from the call to get a token: Extension: Microsoft_Azure_Support Resource: self Details: The logged in user is not authorized to fetch tokens for extension 'Microsoft_Azure_Support' because the user account is not a member of tenant 'f8cdef31-a31e-4b4a-93e4-5f571e91255a'. The account needs to be added as an external user in the tenant first. Sign out and sign in again with a different Azure Active Directory user account. I asked my school and they said I should be able to see the subscription and that they can't do anything. They told me to wait for a day and try again, which I did, with the same results.

What does this mean? Did I do anything wrong? What can I do to access my student subscription?

All help is appreciated, thanks.

    Hi Tamara,

If you open an InPrivate window, navigate to https://portal.azure.com/, and log in, do you get the same? Just wondering if it could be trying to login with a different account thats tied into your browser
