Thank you for posting this in Microsoft Q&A.
To consolidate your Azure subscriptions, you'll need to transfer the subscription from one tenant to the other. Here are the general steps you can take:
Let's consider 2 directories to understand this scenario, (Tenant A and Tenant B)
- Ensure that you have the appropriate permissions to transfer the subscription. You need to be a service administrator or the owner for the source subscription.
- In the tenant A, navigate to the subscription you want to transfer.
- Login to Tenant B directory and make sure you add/invite your user account which is an owner of the subscription on tenant A.
- Make sure user account which is an owner of the subscription on tenant A is added successfully to tenant B directory as a guest user. (If your account is not added then you can refer following article, https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/external-id/b2b-quickstart-add-guest-users-portal)
- Now in tenant A, select "Change Directory" and then select the directory you want to move the subscription to. (Directories shown here are the directories where your account is provisioned as guest accounts)
- Once you select appropriate directory and move further, subscription will be moved to another tenant B successfully.
Note that there are some limitations on transferring subscriptions between tenants, and some services may not be supported in the destination directory. Additionally, any resources you have in the source directory may need to be migrated to the destination directory before the transfer can be completed.
