Can I increase the user limit of a shared mailbox beyond 500 users?

Hello,

We are working on a project that uses a share mailbox to distribute approved documents to our internal colleagues and have run into a limit. The shared mailbox user limit is capped at 500 users per shared mailbox.

Would it be possible to have our account team increase the user limit to ~ 2000?

    No, the limits for Office 365 are not configurable. In some cases limits are defined by the "plan" you are on but are still fixed by the plan. You cannot change the limits that are defined.
