Hello,

I just shut down my virtual PC so it could install some updates, and now when I attempt to load it via Remote Desktop on Mac, it says the usual "Connecting..." and then says "Unable to connect to remote PC etc. etc."

It has to be something to do with the fact I just turned off the remote PC. How do I turn the remote PC on again?

    Hi,

I just turned off the remote PC

Do you mean you turned off the physical PC which hosts the virtual PC?
If so, there is no way to remotely turned on the PC.

If you just turned off the virtual PC, you can firstly remote connect to the physical PC and then turned on the virtual PC.

    Thanks,

No, I haven't turned off any physical PC. It's a virtual PC hosted by somebody else and in the interface I shut it down so I could install some updates. So how do I connect to the Virtual PC?

    Hi,

If you only shut down the virtual PC, I think you can firstly remote connect to the physical PC and then turned on the virtual PC in the remote session.
After that, you can disconnect the remote session of the physical PC and remote connect to the virtual PC directly.

    Thanks,

    Eleven
