Problem in AI Studio: during creation of Hub, connections with AI Services never appear

When creating a Hub in Azure AI Studio, the process completes successfully. However, the expected association between the Hub and the AI Resource does not occur, which prevents us from utilizing services like Vision AI within the AI Studio.
Additionally, when I attempt to manually link the Hub with the AI Resource, I encounter a 403 error.
I also tried creating a Hub from an AI Services space within AI Studio, as well as creating a new AI service from an existing Hub, but the result is the same: the connection between the Hub and the AI Service (resource) never establishes.
I've tested this across multiple subscriptions and Azure accounts, but the issue remains unresolved.

Do you have required permissions? you need either the Owner or Contributor role
403 error typically indicates a permissions issue. Make that you have the required permissions to create and link resources. You need to be at least a
OwnerorContributoron the subscription and resource group where you are creating these resources. See Role-based access control in Azure AI Studio for more details.Also, check if there are any custom role assignments or policies that might be restricting your actions.
The hub has dependencies on other Azure services. The following table lists the permissions required for these services when you create a hub. The person that creates the hub needs these permissions. The person who creates a project from the hub doesn't need them.

2024-09-25T19:04:04.6633333+00:00 Thank you for your response Ashok. While I appreciate the suggestion regarding permissions, I believe the issue is more deeply rooted in the interface and functionality of the Azure AI Studio Hub itself, rather than in role-based access control.
Until recently, the process of creating a hub in Azure AI Studio was straightforward and would automatically link with the corresponding Azure AI Services resource, as expected. However, in the past few days, this automatic connection has stopped functioning correctly. The key issue is that this behavior has changed without any action from the user, and I strongly believe that there should be no need for manual intervention to establish the link between the hub and the AI resource. The automatic association should still be occurring as it did previously.
This problem is not isolated to a single account or subscription. It has been replicated across multiple subscriptions and Azure accounts, regardless of the contract type (CSP, EA, PAYG, etc.), which suggests that the issue is on the platform or portal side rather than specific to my setup or permissions.
Moreover, I have verified the permissions on my side extensively. I hold the Owner role for the subscriptions involved and have ensured that the necessary permissions (Owner or Contributor) are assigned both at the subscription and resource group levels for all involved resources. As such, I am confident that the 403 error is not due to a lack of permissions but rather an indication of a deeper issue within the AI Studio Hub’s current functionality.
I would appreciate it if the Azure AI Studio team could investigate this further, as it seems to be a recent regression in the platform's behavior that is impacting users' ability to effectively utilize AI resources within the hub.
