Issue adding email to authenticator app

I have added my outlook.com email to the authenticator app but it doesn't show up, despite receiving a successful confirmation message. When I tap "add email" again, I am given the option to add a new email or the previously tried email, but both attempts still result in the email not showing up. I have tried cleaning, reinstalling, and updating the app but the problem persists. How can I successfully add this specific email?
