Hi, @Андрей Михалевский
Wanting to force delete public folders and fix the problem of clients not being able to log in to Outlook after deleting the database from ADSIEDIT is not as simple as it seems.
Try deleting the public folder first How to delete Exchange Public folders easily? (nucleustechnologies.com)
There is a known issue on Exchange 2016 regarding the deletion of public folders. After you delete a public folder from the EAC, but when you run Get-MailboxStatistics, you will notice that the public folder mailbox is still displayed. In this case, you should use EMS to permanently delete the public folder mailbox using the command "Remove- MailboxStatistics".
Remove-StoreMailbox -Database “DBname” -Identity “GUID of the disabled PF mailbox” -MailboxState Disabled
In addition, you can also use ADSIEDIT to clean up AD:
Open ADSIEDIT>Connect to the Configuration partition>Drill down to "Services > Microsoft Exchange > YourExchangeOrg > Administrative Groups > YourAdminGroup > Databases">Right-click and delete the database object
Of course, you can also refer to this article to fix the related errors Cannot open mailbox /o=First Organization /ou=Exchange Administrative Group – How to fix the error? (nucleustechnologies.com)
