Edge has suddenly decided to wait 15 seconds before loading pages (which load fast themselves)

Just this morning I started to have a horrible issue with Microsoft Edge. Whenever I navigate to a different URL, the browser just does absolutely nothing for 10-20 seconds. I confirmed this with both the Edge task manager and Windows's, where it shows zero network usage until 20 seconds later when it loads the page normally (I have fast internet, Ethernet in fact so things load very quickly, not to mention a fast PC too).

You can see here in the Network tab of DevTools (in this case I navigated to Twitter) how it takes unreasonably long just to load websites. In fact I got an error on this one right before it loaded because it took THAT long.User's image

I don't know what the problem is. I've disabled all my extensions, used another profile, even repaired Edge but nothing works, other than of course: using Chrome. Chrome load pages the exact way I intend. It is Edge specifically that has this issue. Like maybe they pushed a bad update???

Could anyone try to help me out with this?
