Microsoft Teams meetings can last up to 30 hours for a single session. This applies to both free and paid versions of Teams, although the free version has a shorter limit of 1 hour per meeting.

"Microsoft Teams meetings can last up to 30 hours for a single session. This applies to both free and paid versions of Teams", so that's not a true answer. It doesn't apply to Free at all. The two versions are being convoluted and are treated very differently in reality.
Clarify please: Current users of Skype (Free) can talk over one hour right now. We must transition to Teams (Paid) if we want more than one hour of audio/video chats. Otherwise, Teams (Free) will cut all communications at 60 minutes. Skype isn't just for businesses and I hope MS knows that they're killing home users with this new move. Not good...
