Navigating SharePoint/Teams Documents with Mac Finder

I most frequently use the Finder on my Mac to access my files stored in SharePoint/Teams, and I'm struggling to set up navigation that works properly.

I have a Teams channel that is set to private to chat and share files among just the 4 leaders of our overall team; which results in a separate SharePoint site for those files. However, I am not able to shortcut both the overall Team SharePoint AND the private SharePoint site to my OneDrive in order to add them to my Favorites in Finder. Am I missing a step on how to best do this? The private files do not show up in the overall SharePoint site, only the Team or the separate SharePoint site, but since they're related, I can only choose one to shortcut.

    Hi @Stuart, Robyn

Each private channel has its own SharePoint site. The separate site is to ensure access to private channel files is restricted to only members of the private channel.

Only people with owner or member permissions in the channel will have access to the channel site. People in the parent team and admins won't have access unless they are also channel members.

If you want to add a private channel to OneDrive, you must be a member or owner of the channel.
