How do I add a shortcut in onedrive of a shared folder from another organization

I have 2 different companies, (organizations), that work together. I've shared a Sharepoint site folder on one of those organizations to the other. I see it in Onedrive online under shared but I dont have the option to add a shortcut to Onedrive files. How do I allow this?

    Unfortunately, the shortcut feature is not available for this scenario. Only individually shared files from external tenants can be used with it, or internally-shared folders. It's a common request though, you can vote it up over at the Feedback portal: https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback/idea/de03ac2e-3021-ee11-a81c-002248510ddf
