Bitlocker Password

Hi

I have an issue as I forgot my password for my harddisk encrypted with bitlocker on Windows 11. In the other hand I do have the Bitlocker recovery key stored in a file.

I would like to get the password related to this key and can't find any how to in the net.

Is there a way to get the password recovered?

    Hi @Mame Meier ,

    as far as I know there is no way to find/see the password/PIN (not the Bitlocker Recovery Key).

    It might be the easiest way to set a new password/PIN if the Bitlocker Recovery Key is available.

    Right-click on the drive and click on Change Bitlocker PIN .

    thanks for your quick feedback.

    Unfortunately the goal was to get the password as I used the same password on another drive where I do not have the recovery key :-(
